Former UP CM Mulayam Singh Yadav dies at the age of 82

Mulayam Singh Yadav, admitted in Medanta, was undergoing treatment for several days. He passed away today. This information has been given by his son and former chief minister and Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav on social media.

In fact, on August 22, Mulayam Singh Yadav was admitted to Medanta Hospital after his health deteriorated. He was complaining of chest infection, urine infection and shortness of breath. On the night of 1 October, he was shifted to the ICU. A panel of doctors from Medanta was treating Mulayam Singh Yadav. There is a wave of mourning in the Samajwadi Party on the death of the former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh.

All the veteran leaders of the country have paid tribute to the death of Mulayam Singh, in this list leaders like PM Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, Rajnath, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi have also expressed their condolences.

Mulayam Singh Yadav also became the Chief Minister of UP for the first time in 1989. But in 1991 the Janata Dal broke up. However, in 1993, he again formed the government in UP, this government also could not complete the term amid clashes with Mayawati. He became the Chief Minister for the third time in 2003 and remained in this post till 2007.

Let us tell you that former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Mulayam Singh Yadav, popularly known as Netaji, founded the Samajwadi Party. He currently represents the Mainpuri constituency in the Lok Sabha. Earlier, Sadhna Gupta, wife of Samajwadi Party chief, died in July this year. Sadhna Gupta was the second wife of Mulayam Singh Yadav. His first wife Malti Devi passed away in 2003. Malti Devi was the mother of Akhilesh Yadav.

Mulayam Singh was known for his familiar style in politics. He was known for having a sweet and non-political relationship with his opponents. That’s why his opponents in politics also respected him very much.
