Rajasthan Congress Political Crisis : Sachin Pilot will be able to become the CM of Rajasthan!

The political turmoil of Rajasthan does not seem to be stopping, the high voltage drama continued till midnight, the pro-Gehlot MLAs put two conditions.

The meeting of the Congress Legislature Party was to be held at the Chief Minister’s residence at 7 pm. But even before that, MLAs who were considered loyal to Gehlot started gathering at the bungalow of Parliamentary Affairs Minister Shanti Dhariwal. Yes, he reached the residence of Speaker of the Assembly Dr. Joshi at around 8.30 pm and stayed there till midnight. And these MLAs have submitted their collective resignation to the Speaker CP Joshi. Chief whip in the state assembly Mahesh Joshi said late on Sunday night that “we have resigned and the Speaker will now decide what to do next.

However, political pundits say that Gehlot wants that this mobilization is being done to ensure that Sachin Pilot does not become the Chief Minister at any cost.

The MLAs loyal to Gehlot have two conditions. First, the chief minister’s successor should be someone who played a key role in saving the government during the political crisis in 2020, not someone who was involved in an attempt to topple it.

Secondly, he does not want a meeting of the Congress Legislature Party until the election of the Congress President’s post is done. Which is on 19th October.

Disaster Management and Relief Minister Govind Ram Meghwal told media persons, “We have just submitted our resignations.” When asked how many MLAs had resigned, he said, “Around 100 MLAs have resigned.” Coming out of Joshi’s residence, Congress state president Govind Singh Dotasara said, “Everything is fine.”

This situation is indicating a deepening of the struggle for power between the Chief Minister and Sachin Pilot. Gehlot will contest for the post of Congress President, so there is talk of choosing his successor. But looking at these circumstances, it does not seem that the path of Sachin Pilot is easy. The Congress high command is angry with Gehlot due to this political drama.
