Complain against Abhinav Kohli:
Shri registered a case of molestation against her husband, Abhinav Kohli, in August 2019. For allegedly slapping her daughter, Palak Tiwari, showing her vulgar photos, and making obscene comments. After Shweta’s complaint, her husband was arrested by the Mumbai Police. However later, an Instagram post was posted by Palak Tiwari, in which she clarified that Abhinav never physically molested her or touched her, but he made disturbing comments that would have provoked any woman.
FIR against her Bra comment:
On 28 January 2022, FIR was charged against Shweta Tiwari under section 295 (a) of the Indian Penal Code in Bhopal at Shyamla Hills police station. The case was registered for allegedly hurting the religious sentiments during an event launch of a web series, Shweta said, “my bra size is being taken by Bhgwaan”. This FIR came after the Home Minister of Madhya Pradesh Narottam Mishra took cognizance of Shweta’s statement and claims that the action will be taken after the investigation will be made by Bhopal Police Commissioner.
